About Us

The Story of Pure Fitness

Pure Fitness was founded in 2017 by Rogers native, Christie Belicek. Before starting Pure Fitness, Christie owned and trained at a gym in Uvalde. When she moved back to Rogers, she realized there wasn’t a great fitness option in the area. Any of the residents who wanted to workout either had to do so at the high school during off-hours or drive into Temple or Cameron. With the goal of remedying this problem, Christie launched her first open-to-the-public boot camp classes in February of 2017.


Since then, the gym has undergone extensive growth. Our number of members has grown and we’ve developed a real following in the local community. The members who work out at Pure Fitness have come to love it for the awesome results they experience, as well as the camaraderie they’ve developed with other members. It’s truly a group collective, and we work together to inspire and motivate each other to be the best we can be.


Our training philosophy is to always stay aware of proper form and technique. We work every day to prevent injury from rushing through workouts incorrectly. All of our exercises can be scaled and modified up or down depending on your personal fitness level and your physical ability. We want to work hard, but we also want to do it correctly and in a manageable manner.

Christie brings over 15 years of training experience to Pure Fitness. She specializes in TRX, Kettlebells, Athlete Training, Functional Training and Weight Loss. She is also a certified nutritionist, and loves putting together complete fitness-lifestyle plans that combine exercise and healthy nutrition to achieve maximum results.

“I drove by Pure Fitness dozens of times thinking ‘I need to be exercising.’ Finally, the first of February, 2017, I stopped and joined. I was nearly positive I wouldn’t stick with it, but I found out the three hours a week flew by with no sore muscles and a great deal of fun. Christie is a positive, Christian lady who encourages me as she explains the exercises and how they will benefit my arthritic body. She also is well versed in nutrition if you have questions. There are friends in my class to visit with, and we laugh at ourselves and tell jokes which speeds up the time. I have lost a total of 27 inches and 12 lbs in this past year and am feeling really good now when I drive by Pure Fitness. I’m improving my body, boosting my morale and have no plans to quit.”
